But, with so many people involved in this crime, store owners may get extreme when defending themselves and their merchandise from theft.
The flash mob theft has been cropping up all over the nation in convenience stores and other random retail stores. Usually, a bunch of young people run into the business take things and make a run for it. And since there are so many of the thieves, it’s hard to catch them. According to Huffington Post, the latest occurrence was in Silver Spring, Maryland.
