Wow America! What a way to fight the power. Did you see that in just one month’s time since we reported on Bank of America’s new debit card charge policy, that the customers have caused them to back pedal on their decision to charge for use of their debit card? Now if we could only shut down some gas companies that are charging us blood money to fill up our gas tanks.
According to MSN Money, Bank of America said that they decided not to go ahead with the new policy because they have been “listening to their customers over the last few weeks.” They are trying to get us to believe that they are compassionate in their business practices and that the foreclosures and dirty predatory lending practices were all just another way they had been listening to their customers say, “We want out of our houses!” NOT!
It’s not our fault that their mortgage end of their business got them in the debt they are in now. They thought they’d corner the market by buying Countrywide, but all it did was put them in massive debt and then they tried to make us pay for it. Wells Fargo, SunTrust, and others decided not to try this charge either. They saw the backlash Bank of America suffered and backed away.
Check out the report below. Customers that had been with Bank of America for 15 years or more were going to let go of their account over this. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
