Boy Finally Accepted by Girl Scouts?

Bobby Montoya, 10, was rejected but now accepted by the Girl Scouts of Colorado because he relates as a girl.

The world is complicated when merely contemplating issues between men and women.  So, when you blur the line between the two with transgender and/or transvestite  issues, complicated becomes incredibly complicated.  For instance, what do you do when your child feels like he’s a girl trapped in a  boy’s body? AND he wants to be a Girl Scout?

According to the Daily Mail, the boy, Bobby Montoya, 10, simply wanted to follow behind his sisters in joining the Girl Scouts of Colorado, but was rejected.  But it appears that the Girl Scouts has had a change of heart.  Well, it was discovered that Montoya’s mother, Felisha Archuleta, was given the wrong information.

A statement was issued from the Girl Scouts organization stating:

“If a child identifies as a girl and the child’s family presents her as a girl, Girl Scouts of Colorado welcomes her as a Girl Scout.”

The Girl Scouts make this statement as a part of their goal of supporting  transgender families.  Check out the story below.
