Man Loots Apple Store Near Jobs Memorial

After someone dies, unfortunately, there’s sometimes confusion over their material effects left behind.  In the case of Apple computer founder Steve Jobs, who has invented what, arguably, is the most coveted inventions of our time, the coveting of his products got a little out of hand.

According to the Associated Press, a man looted an Apple store not too far from a makeshift memorial for Jobs.  A techy couple, Robert Blake and Amy Parker, were going to place flowers at the memorial site when all of a sudden a man makes a mad dash out of the Apple store and into a cab. 

Luckily Parker had an iPhone available to place a call to 911 about the man’s suspicious behavior.  Authorities said the man made off with dozens of  iPhones, iPads, and other merchandise.  After the heist and speaking with police, the couple left white lilies at the memorial.
