Georgia Woman Wins Millions with Wrong Game Ticket

Kathy Scruggs, 44, hit the $25 million Powerball with what she thought was a Mega Millions ticket she paid for Wednesday, September 14.

I bet you’re wondering, “Why can’t someone make a mistake like this for me?”  The  store clerk must’ve been getting ready to go home for the evening.  She didn’t care what she gave the woman.  But what she ended up giving her, was a winnning ticket.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Kathy Scruggs, 44, had been laidoff from her job back in the spring.  She tells a very funny story on how the winning numbers ended up in her hand. She said she came to play MegaMillions and she gave her a Powerball and the rest is millionaire history.
