NY Shooting Caught on Tape in front of McDonald’s (Video)

A young man in a red jacket repeatedly shoots another, Tyquan Sewell, 18, while being taped on a NYPD surveillance camera, Tuesday, September 27, 2011.

A long time ago, Marvin Gaye asked, in one of his most popular songs, “What’s Goin’ On?” And that same song and his question of our society is still relevant today.  But now when mayhem ensues in our streets, it’s caught on tape and the question becomes more penetrating than ever before.  Two young men plot to take another young man’s life and we see it unfold before our eyes…in broad daylight.

According to the New York Post, two young men were taped on an NYPD surveillance camera at Nostrand and Flatbush in Brooklyn Tuesday, exchanging a gun between them in front of McDonald’s as they walked into the restaurant.  Then, as you will see on the video, a guy in a white t-shirt, Tyquan Sewell, 18, is seen running, then rolling in the street away from the shooter in the red jacket as he shoots him repeatedly.

According to police, he suffered injuries to the face, groin, stomach and left leg, and was in critical condition at Kings County Hospital.  Sewell has a “history” of arrests and his shooters were still at large at the time of the report.  Check it out below.

  1. The U.S. Government should round up every African and ship them back to where they came from (Africa).

FACT: Where ever Africans are found there is a high incidence of STDs, rape, robbery, and murder. You don’t need to take my word for it, look up the statics for yourself.

There is a reason why our jails are overflowing with Africans and it’s not because of racism. The reason is because the African race has a violent and unrestrained nature.

I’m a white man and I subscribe to Mr Kings philosophy and dream that all people of all races be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. When I was a teenager in Chicago I spent a few unstable teen years making some really bad decisions and got shot in a fight and almost died from it. My point being there’s a lot of white violent people in america today as well as other races. It’s not about race it’s about character and the beliefs held by the individuals and where those beliefs came from.
Should we include Michael Jordan, Condalezza Rice, or how about an African American preacher named T.D. Jakes within that shipment back to Africa ? Or perhaps Colin Powell, Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Derek Jeter.
I’m more of a jazz lover myself and not a big fan of rap, but being a musician, I respect the talents of Snoop Dog. I’ve tried to write rap and it’s not as easy as it looks and takes some major music skillz to pull off. Of course being a jazz lover you would ship away one of my favorite jazz musicians Herbie Hancock ! Of course if Jimi Hendricks were still alive we would no doubt have to ship him back also. Oh wait ! Hendrix died of a drug overdose so he has bad character …….. yeah like white people and musicians have never OD on drugs at all. How about one of my favorite and the greatest wide receiver in the history of the NFL Jerry Rice ? Speaking of Jerry Rice, did you know that he has such a violent nature that he started a foundation to help kids be all they can be and has a yearly golfing event to raise money for charities ? What an evil man he is, yes he is a real threat to America, ship him back too !

My point is, there are many great Americans of all races and it’s time to judge by character not by color or ethnic background. If a man has good character he’s a good man, regardless of his skin color or ethnic background. These kids may be more misguided and confused than having bad character and it’s never too late to save teens from a path of self destruction no matter their race. It’s not an easy job ahead for all of us but it is possible if we will resolve to fix the problems instead of stereotyping black vs white vs brown vs …. insert color or race here…… It about character not race.
