This is another story for our “Sick Ass Individual” category. Although, there is hardly anything that we can report these days that is shocking anymore. This particular story is just as miserably disappointing and stomach turning as any other. Except, this wasn’t an arbitrary rape case. The young girl was raped by someone she knew…her mother’s boyfriend.
The accused, Trevaun Brooks, 28, was arrested at a NEW girlfriend’s home. I wonder if she had a young daughter too? If so, she was just saved a world of hurt. The baby was born in August to the previous girlfriend’s 11-year old daughter. Now 12, the young girl and her baby are in the custody of Michigan’s Child Protective Services.
The girl initially told authorities that she had been impregnated by a 15-year old. Why would she tell this lie and why is she not in her mother’s custody? This case appears to have more to it than we probably want to know. Brooks is under a $1 million bond for being a flight risk. Check out the case here.
