Xzibit Says Planking Origins Are in the Slave Trade

The planking phenomena has caught on so quickly as the prank to do that the people that choose to do it probably have no clue of the origins of this ridiculous act.  They are following along with their friends and comrades in pulling off what is not even a stunt, but some are making comparisons between the act of planking and the slave trade.

Rapper/Actor Xzibit took to Twitter to express his concern about the trend and “drop some knowledge” that might change some folk’s mind about taking part in the so-called prank.  He wrote on Twitter:

“Planking is the dumbest s**t ever. Planking was a way to transport slaves on ships during the slave trade, it’s not funny. Educate yourselves.

    also symbolizes death.. and what’s horrifying is that
    it roots from slave trade.. People nowadays doesn’t think
