The America we’ve known for so long has been black and white. But now there are many more ethnicities that have risen up in the racial ranks to be considered. The Gerber baby was a reflection of America and was always a little white baby, but now the Gerber baby has morphed into dozens of babies representing the face of new America.
The Latino group of America is pushing the surge of a more diverse landscape and have already become the top minority in America over African Americans. According to ABC, Latinos number 50 million residents and African Americans stand at 38 million. But, another concern that ABC did not engage is how many bi-racial Americans are contributing to the 223 million white Americans numbers. Are they choosing white or black or giving multiple answers to address their ethnicity?
But there are no worries there either. Demographers predict that, within 40 years, white America will be the new top minority. Check out ABC’s report.

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every single time a comment is added I get four emails with the very same comment. Is there any way it is possible to eliminate me from that service? Thanks!

Even a filmmaker as dazzling as Steven Spielberg has to create characters who lure us into their point of view, and the trouble with Tintin is that we’re always on the outside, looking in. What all that motion can’t capture is our hearts.
