Newt Gingrich, has shown himself to be a sorry Presidential candidate. It has been apparent that he just wants to “say” he’s running for President, but doesn’t want to do the work to fill the seat. His campaign has been embattled since the very beginning because of his lack of attention to it. He is in denial though, as evinced on his Facebook page yesterday after his entire senior campaign team, including advisers QUIT!
According to the New York Post, Gingrich took to his Facebook page saying, “I am committed to running the substantive, solutions-oriented campaign I set out to run earlier this spring. The campaign begins anew Sunday in Los Angeles.” The campaign is essentially a wrap! His campaign team did not believe in him! What does that say about your presidential run when your supporters don’t support you? Not a good look Gingrich!
The former House Speaker under President Clinton’s administration, has been living like P. Diddy not a former government official with aspirations as lofty as the White House. He’s just recently returned from a two-week cruise to Greece with his third wife Callista that would become the last straw for campaign aides. They did not believe that Gingrich was really headed in the same direction as they were for the campaign, thus a walkout ensued.
The campaign had already been re-launched twice as advisers were not certain of the date and one launched while the other said, “No, not yet.” What kind of fraggle nackle bull crapple is going on over there Gingrich? The advisers don’t even know what the other is thinking? So unprofessional! But aside from that, constituents had jumped on him in different occasions. One called him an “embarrassment to the party.” Another guy sprinkled glitter over his head at a rally.
Also, the campaign doesn’t have money and campaign officials were worried that he wouldn’t do the very basic things to raise funds for hte campaign and and actually manage a campaign. And should we bring up the 6-figure Tiffany tab that he’s been avoiding talking about? He told Face the Press that it was a personal matter and the tab had been paid. And he wanted to know why that was relevant. Gingrich, give it a rest! Being in politics all these years have not served him well. We could run for President! Right?! We know as much as he does about running a campaign. Read more here.
