Handicapped Man Thrown Out of Wheelchair by D.C. Metro Police (Video)

The police have officially gone too far.  This story definitely goes in the C’MON SON! Hall of Fame!  Because obviously, D.C. police is trying to place in America’s Police Brutality Olympic trials.  They are definitely going to qualify with this one.  How can you possibly justify a wheelchair-bound man being hustled to the ground?  What did he do?  Run over their toes?

Washington’s local NBC affiliate reported that D.C.’s subway cops arrested a wheelchair-bound man that was drinking an alcoholic beverage outside a Metro station (D.C.’s subway) right across the street from the famous Ben’s Chili Bowl.  A passerby shot an amateur video of the incident that Metro reported as: “the patron resisted arrest which resulted in him falling out of his wheelchair.”

Note to DC Metro cops:

  • Perp was in a wheelchair
  • He was drinking an alcoholic beverage…in a wheelchair

What type of bullshiggidy are they trying to get folks to believe?  If the man, who looks up in age from the video, was drinking AND in a wheelchair, he’s disabled…TWICE!  What kind of haymaker/roundhouse kick could he have dropped on the cops to make them snatch him out of his chair and slam him to the ground. Even if you didn’t see the video, the facts don’t fit the crime they claim he committed.

Check out the video and judge for yourself.

  1. Ok, he was drinking in public, which is illegal. Then he resisted arrest, which is a crime, and was taken to the ground. Sounds like his own dumb fault to me…and btw DC Police and Metro Police are 2 different agencies….seems this article was written by another ignorant fool.
