This is one of the most amazing things you will see. Have you ever walked across an intersection and the traffic light turns green for oncoming traffic? Folks give you a couple seconds to get out of the crosswalk and make it to the other side…right? Isn’t that what usually happens? Well, unfortunately, that courtesy wasn’t given to a mother pushing a stroller through an intersection in Arizona.
According to the NY Daily News, the mother, Regina Carrasco, a foreign woman it appears doesn’t speak english, was pushing her 4-year old daughter across what looks like a busy intersection in Scottsdale when her and her daughter were struck by an SUV. The city is reviewing their high tech system they have in place for managing the traffic lights.
In this incident, it is obvious to see that an RV is blocking the view of the SUV and they were unable to see the mother in the crosswalk when the light turned green. Review the tape! The footage is shocking, but it’s great to know that the mother and daughter were unharmed. When you see this video, you will be convinced that God does grant miracles!
