Two teenage girls in Minnesota have senselessly lost their lives over the most common problem amongst teenagers right now…bullying. One of the girls reached out for help by complaining on her Facebook page about the enveloping depression she felt, but to no avail, no one realized the seriousness of her pleas.
Haylee Fentress and Paige Moravetz, both 14, were only eighth graders at Marshall Middle school in Lynd, Minn. Haylee was new to the area from Indiana and her aunt told ABC that she complained to her family about feeling “ostracized and bullied” at her new school. But she made one friend in Paige Moravetz, who shared in her pain of being bullied. The other disturbing details Haylee’s aunt revealed to ABC is that it appeared the girls had been planning their death for a “long time.”
Haylee’s mother, Tracy Morrison, discovered the girls hung in Haylee’s room. Paige had stayed with Haylee after her stepdad and mother left for a 10-day Hawaiian vacation. The amount of shock and sadness must have been completely consuming for both mothers. But to find out on your Hawaiian vacation? God bless these families. See the report here.
