People play the lottery everyday. Some of you play in excess of $100 per week just for the promise of one day getting the hit of your dreams. But like Outkast once said, most of you are “livin’ for the lotto never hit it.” But, this time someone did hit. In fact, it may be several individuals that are out there holding the golden ticket, but they won’t come forward. Well, let me rephrase that, they haven’t claimed it … yet!
According to MSNBC, an attorney, Dave Diamond, told reporters that he knows some of the state workers that purchased the ticket in Albany, Ny., at Coulson’s convenience store near the state Division of Housing and Community Renewal where they work. But, how the news is getting out that they may be the winners is a mystery.
Coulson’s store owner, Steve Hutchins, said he didn’t have any information on who could be the possible winner. He’s listening to the rumors and/or gossip like everyone else. The seven workers that may have hit aren’t budging yet and it’s possible that because the jackpot was so large, $319 million, they want to figure out how to divide it up and find the quickest route of a town where nearly 10,000 jobs may be eliminated in the near future.
