The most horrifying outcome to child abuse has reared its ugly head in Florida. The troubled life of one young Florida woman has ended with the deaths of her and her children. It’s believed that she came up missing last year and her children have been in the custody of her boyfriend–a known felon–ever since. Bizarre right? To add to the complexity of the story, him and his new, but kinda old, girlfriend were keeping the children.
According to the Miami Herald, Felicia Brown, 25, had three children by the time she was 19. Her middle child, Jasmine, was given up for adoption and her other children, Jermaine McNeil, 10, and Ju’Tyra Allen, 6, were just dragged from the Delray Beach canal decomposed inside luggage. Brown, herself, had come up missing last summer. Police believe they found her remains in a “county garbage dump.”
Beauchamp and the new girlfriend, Michelle S. Dent–who didn’t get along with Brown–were keeping Brown’s children, yet Dent lost custody of her own three children when an investigator for Department of Children and Families testified “that she was a person of interest in a double or triple homicide.”
Beauchamp was taken into federal custody the day after the children were found on unrelated charges. The case is disgusting and the details of the autopsy have not been given to the general public. But, it sounds like it’s best we don’t know. Read more here on the case. The children and their mother will be buried together Friday. Finally…R.I.P.
