Before we get into this, let me first start by saying, “Rush Limbaugh has never been a friend to the black community.” Okay, now! What is this bullshiggidy in the news that Rush Limbaugh made the statement: “Planned Parenthood, doing the job the Klan could never finish? Is that what you think?” (as though he’s talking to someone in the studio) This was near the end of his rant over Planned Parenthood and the controversy surrounding a billboard in New York that went up and subsequently came right back down due to the controversial imagery of a little black girl and the words, ““The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb.”
I have to give him credit for one thing, he is a whoremonger for controversy. He knows how to bring plenty of attention to his show. He eagerly jumped into this issue, so that he can try to make it seem that he has the black community’s best interest at heart. He is so sad that of 41 percent of New York’s abortions nearly 60 percent of them were African American women. He wants to see these women walking three to five children down the street with one on the way, drawing a welfare check and–as he would say–putting a drain on the economy and making them a focal point of his conservative crusade. Either way, he wins! He has something to talk about on his show! And he makes out like the FAT RAT that he is.
Limbaugh even went as far as to say that “liberals, leftists, pro-abortion types and Democrats” are behind Planned Parenthood and they place them in black communities. And he mentioned that a black minister out of Louisiana put up the billboad in NYC and Al Sharpton threatened to protest, so they took it down. Many have problems with abortions being used as a form of birth control, but there are so many different cases it’s hard to pinpoint.
