The Playboy mansion has been a bucket list item of every man since turning the first page of Playboy magazine. The wild parties, the infamous “grotto”, and Playboy bunnies, has kept the place cloaked in intrigue and sexual fascination for many years. It appears that Hugh Hefner may have even found the fountain of youth in his own backyard. But, February 3, the octogenarian’s staff appears to have missed a few spots while cleaning for a fundraising event at the mansion.
According to KTLA, the annual DOMAINfest Global conference is a 3-day conference that included parties in three different venues including: the Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica, the Sky Bar on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, and the weekend’s finale venue, the Playboy Mansion. It wasn’t until the last party that attendees reported coming down with fever, respiratory problems and violent headaches. The number of those that took ill started at 100, but has risen to 170.
The Playboy mansion issued a statement to the New York Post saying:
“There is no truth in the rumor that anyone caught anything at the Playboy Mansion. Nor is there any evidence. None of the Playboy staff became ill, the deejay was in the middle of the fog and she didn’t get ill. We have been contacted by the Health Department and the Playboy Mansion is cooperating fully with the investigation.”
