The young woman we now know as Carlina White, formerly known as Nejdra Nance, that found her real mother last week after 23 years can now watch her impostor of a mother go to jail.
She described the woman as abusive and said she could never see the resemblance between herself and the woman’s family members. Her curiosity led her to investigate by periodically checking a Missing Children’s site for any clue that would lead her closer to her real family. She finally got a breakthrough when she saw her baby picture on the site.
According to CNN, the kidnapper Ann Pettway, has since given herself up in Bridgeport, Ct., initially, to an officer via Facebook on Sunday. She then met with officers without a struggle. She has been on probation for embezzlement. Apparently, she stole some things from a past job. That’s all the information given thus far. Check out the report:
