Homeless Man with ‘Golden Voice’ Has Prayers Answered

Ted Williams standing on the side of the road being discovered by Columbus Dispatch reporter.

You would have to be living under a rock that had been stepped on by a magic giant that rode the backs of unicorns to have not heard this story and not know who Ted Williams is by now.  But just in case, we’ll explain.  Williams is like any other homeless person you may have seen toting a cardboard message in front of them with a message on it.  But, his message –and him– have one MAJOR difference…the voice.

Ted Williams stood along a major highway in Columbus, Oh., with a cardboard sign that read, “I have a God given gift of voice.  I am an ex radio announcer who has fallen on hard times  Please! Any help will be greatfully appreciated. Thank you and God bless you.  Happy Holidays!”  So, one reporter from the local newspaper, the Columbus Dispatch, took interest and asked him, “Let me hear that golden voice!” And the rest is history.  Internet history.  After one viewing of the video the reporter took of Williams, which ballooned into over five million on YouTube alone, you can see this man truly has “the voice.”  A stunning studio voice that, overnight, has employers beating down his door….well, new door….to his new house!

Williams had struggled with drugs and alcohol, but has been sober for two years and still living on the streets.  Now all of that is over as you will see in this amazing story:
