The city of Buffalo, Ny., was hit by a devastating fire to one of its most prominent businesses. A wind-induced fire blew through what the proprietors call the “largest African American funeral home in Buffalo.” The fire nearly took the lives of two firefighters after more than a few trucks were called to the blaze.
While the fire was a six-alarm fire, there were no casualties. After firefighters battled the fire, they found the building was empty. The building is the family owned and operated United Memorial & Moss Funeral Home. Two firefighters fell through a weak floor and they had to immediately get everyone out.
