Blackbirds Fall From the Sky by the Thousands on New Year’s Eve (Video)

Blackbirds line the street coming into Beebe, 40 miles northeast of Little Rock, Ak.

In Arkansas, a strange phenomenon occurred just before the new year came in.  It may sound like something out of a horror film that uses biblical signs as a diabolical omen. A mile outside the city of Beebe–40 miles northeast of Little Rock–4,000 to 5,000 blackbirds fell from the sky before the clocks struck 12.  But some believe this is not as unusual as this might sound.

According to CNN, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission had several experts chime in on what one of them called “not that unusual and is often caused by a lightning strike or high-altitude hail.”  They report that a strong storm system traveled through the area Friday, but no hail or lightning was reported.

Look at the streets, homes, and property littered with blackbirds and tell us if you believe that this is simple as it is being explained. The timing of the event suggests something more ominous than that.  Check it out:
