The real Julian Assange didn’t visit SNL, but the character that plays him, comedian Bill Hader, gets really close to capturing the essence of the most wanted man in the world right now. Julian Assange has released all kinds of documents that reveal the corrupt nature of world governments and corporations, yet according to Time magazine, Mark Zuckerburg is the Person of the Year. On SNL, Zuckerburg must be stopped!
The skit shows Zuckerburg making a sort of live acceptance speech which is soon interrupted by Assange from a high-back armchair. He is letting everyone know that he is a little perturbed by Time magazine’s choice. One remark he makes to give Time something to think about is, “Time magazine…always on the cutting edge.
