As difficult as it is to get media attention for minority missing persons it is more than interesting that a case regarding an African American teenage girl in Arkansas back in 1985 has been reopened. Authorities have not given information about why the case is being looked at again, but say that there has been inquiries with a suspect, according to AOL News contributor David Lohr. The young woman’s sister has been relentless in keeping up the search for her.
Lisa Murray was only 19 when her sister, Jeffrey Lynn Smith, disappeared and she has used virtually every missing person resource available to find her. Her sister’s name is very interesting for a female and what’s even more interesting is how and why she has the name. Murray’s last resort for finding her sister was reaching out to the family of her mother’s past employer, the Clintons. Bill Clinton’s mother employed Murray’s mother as a housekeeper and babysitter while she was pregnant with Jeffrey Lynn.
As the case unfolds, her sister revealed that her mother named her daughter after Clinton’s stepfather, Jeffrey Dwire. Clinton’s mother, Virginia Dwire at the time, was married four times. Jeffrey Dwire was her third husband. Virginia also served as her anesthesiologist during her delivery. Police have charted the territory in Hot Springs that they will begin to search.
