Some of you may believe that this is another pastor looking for a reaction and his 15 minutes of fame. If that is what you’re thinking, you would be right. He is trying to use his religious message to spread hope among the many South Africans suffering from HIV/AIDS. There are millions living with the virus in South Africa, yet they are banished and/or feel alienated by their fellow neighbor and others.
South African Pastor Xola Skosana stirred up a lot of controversy after saying that Jesus had HIV, but he was really only trying to drop the stigma that comes with it and make his congregation more comfortable knowing that Jesus took on the infirmities of his people.

ITS ABSURD TO PREACH THAT JESUS HAD HIV/AIDS, IN ALL TRUTH AS THE GOSPEL DICTATES YOU HOULD NOT ADD OR TAKE AWAY FROM THE WORD OF GOD; BUT I UNDERSTAND WHY AND COMMEND HIS EFFORTS.
