Video: Bill Maher on White Men’s Problem and Brett Favre

Bill Maher is an outspoken political comic that tries to keep himself neutral, but most of the time is completely the opposite.  He’s normally hailing from the Left and a “straight to the point” kind of guy.  But this week he beats around the bush and goes around the corner to make a point about “the white man” and Brett Favre.

Brett Favre, quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, has recently made the news with his quirky behavior that included an alleged stalking sexting incident where he sent a picture of his penis to a woman who apparently didn’t like what she saw.  Now his “shortcomings” have become fodder for a lot of comedians’ jokes.

But Maher goes the extra mile with this one and tells us why Brett Favre sent that picture and why white men and white conservatives are somehow linked to his reasoning for sending the photo in the first place.  The

“Brett Favre is like a lot of white males. He’s owned the world for so long, he’s going a little crazy now that he doesn’t…Because for hundreds of years white penises were America. White penises founded America, they made the rules and they called the shots in the workplace, in the home, and at the ballot box. But now the unthinkable is happening. White penises are becoming the minority: 2010 was the first year in which more minority babies were born in the U.S. than white babies. This is what conservatives are really upset about…”

Check it out! He might be on point with this one…well, everything except the part about how it relates to Brett Favre.
