Burglars Used Facebook to Choose Their Victims

The police in Nashua, New Hampshire seem to believe that robbers in their town are making the most out of their Internet by using Facebook and other social sites to find out your status…or when you’ll be home.  So many of us get on Facebook and other sites and lose our common sense.  Before this incident, how many of you (show of hands) even thought someone might break in your house by checking your status report or last entry?

These officers said that the homes were robbed for $100,000 to $200,000 and it was recovered.  The thieves were showing their ingenuity…at first.  But, it appears they weren’t too bright for them to be nabbed so quickly.  But, the crime turnaround is not in question here our behavior on these social networks is what we should be holding up for review.

Check out the rest of the story here.  Be sure to take notes…not you Pookie and No No!
