Cockroaches Are Key to New Antibiotics?

At this very moment some of you may have the cure all around you  to the superbugs that the scientific world are combatting.  The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science have discovered that the central nervous tissues of these scum sucking menaces also known as cockroaches are able to kill 90 percent of E. coli and MRSA (drug resistant staph infections).

The discovery is nothing short of miraculous to those who have flesh eating bacteria eating their flesh everyday with no cure in sight.  The scientific community has been issuing warnings that our present antibiotics have to be improved because bacterial infections are advancing and we will be completely vulnerable.

Now this doesn’t mean for you to try and cut out the middle man and start experimenting with your cousin’s rash and a few of your personal stock of super antibiotic carrying buddies in the kitchen.
