Yesterday, folks in Akron, Oh., complained of tremors. They didn’t know why the shelves in the grocery store were rattling or why their homes shook. Well, now we know. There was an EARTHQUAKE! Reports from the Akron Beacon Journal say that the earthquake stemmed from Canada.
The 5.0 magnitude quake came through Ohio, but it was also felt in Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York. In Akron, the employees at Akron General Medical Center felt the hospital sway. Initially the calls reporting the quake came from Northeast Ohio, but the earthquake was felt in “Columbus and as far away as Cincinnati.”
The summit of G8 and G20 world leaders are meeting in Toronto next week, so some thought they were being attacked. They thought it might be some sort of car bomb. But the completely unusual event was not an attack, but an abnormality of nature that seems to be getting more and more normal throughout the world. Read more here.
