Dishin’ Dirt on the “Queen Expo”, Chamillionaire, Trey Songz and more…

What’s up y’all?  Here is the dirt…

I know I’m late but last week was a BLAST and I didn’t have time to sit down and write.  If you missed the “Queen Experience” you missed a treat.  If you were there, you know exactly what I am talking about.

Not only did they have some of the best talent in the industry in attendance, they also had some of the BEST food I’ve EVER HAD, especially the Kheesecakes by Kelli.  You can order yours today by clicking here

Y’all, I am a FOODIE and that cheesecake by FAR is the BEST I’ve EVER had (in my Drake voice) in my LIFE!  I would recommend the Red Velvet Cheesecake and the Banana Pudding Cheesecake.  OMG is all I can SAY!

Greg Alan Williams
Ed Hartwell

Not only were the food and vendors great but the ALL MALE CELEBRITY PANEL was a HIT!  Ladies, I’ve been married for 13 years (I was a child bride) and even I learned something that day.  The males ranged in age from their mid-20’s to their early 50’s and no answer was the same.  Shouts out to NFLer Ed Hartwell, Actor extraordinaire Greg Alan Williams, Singer Dave Tolliver, Poet Hank Stewart, Entrepreneur Curtis Eddleton and young actor Brad James.  I know that I am rubbing it in but don’t fret, “Queen…Living the Experience” is coming to a city near you real soon.  Major KUDOS to the sistaz who hosted the affair.  Ebony Porter-Ike (stylist, image consultant, motivational speaker), Rhonda Wilkins (manager, entrepreneur, event planner) and Gigi Hunter (lifestyle coach).  These ladies did a fantastic job.  As you know, “Queen…Living the Experience” was a charitable event to assist wheelchair bound Sade Stephens.  It is not too late to donate to the cause.  Click here to read about Sade and how you can assist.

LaTonya and Lisa Wu Hartwell

In other ATL news I just want to shouts out my girls Melanie Mitchell and April Love for the invitation to the grand opening of the “Weave Shop” last weekend.  I opted out after it began raining cats, dogs and elephants.  AN-T-WAY, I heard rapper Rasheedah and Lisa Wu Hartwell hosted the grand opening.  Young money maker, LaTonya Saunderson has done it again.  Not only has this young sista opened up weave shops in Michigan and NJ but she has made her way all the way down to the “durty durty” and Atlanta will never be the same.  Go girl!  Make that money!  Click here for more information on the weave shop.

Side Bar-Ummmm…WHY were Rasheedah and Lisa Wu Hartwell the hosts of the grand opening and neither one of them wear weave?  What, NeNe wasn’t available?  I’m just sayin’…

Trey Songz

It’s official, Monica and Trey Songz have released their tour dates.  This won’t be a Maxwell/ Jill Scott combo or a Maxwell/ Erykah Badu combo (mainly because Monica and Trey get along but that’s another story) BUT it will be a HOT concert.  The tour kicks off in August so check ticketmaster for dates and times.

Side Bar-Not to be messy (yes I am) but…I wonder who’ll headline…

Shouts out to Chamillionaire. I LOVE that dude.  I have been a “closeted” fan since he came out a couple of years ago but after hearing about him letting go of his $2 Million home to help his mom pay her medical bills (she has cancer) brought me to tears.  Keep Chamillionaire and his family in your prayers.  The new album was slated to drop next week but has been pushed back.  I’ll keep y’all posted.

Side Bar-By the way Chamillionaire, if you’re out there, please know that I am no longer in the “closet.”  I feel real comfortable blasting “Riding Dirty” with the windows down.  Nuff said…

That’s all the dirt for now.  Holla back at your girl…
