According to MSNBC, Wednesday morning a Wisconsin man visiting his family in Chicago opened fire on his family at approximately 4:30am in the Marquette Park neighborhood. The man, obviously insane, told someone close to the investigation that he heard “voices” that told him to kill his family. If documents in Wisconsin are correct, the man and his wife had just won a paternity suit to gain joint custody of a 7-month old boy. The discrepancy from said documents are in the spelling of the wife and boy’s names.
Before breaking into tears, the gunman’s sister, Letisha Larry, 30, told reporters that her brother was not a “bad” guy. She also told them that he had been reading islamic text lately that made him believe that he should kill someone. Don’t you hate when a heinous act is committed and someone comes out of the woodwork to say how wonderful a person the fool was? It’s annoying. That’s almost as bad as white people that blame black men for killing their family members and get caught in a lie later. What islamic text have you heard of that is a chant for murderous tendencies anyway? The islamic text I’ve heard in prayer is some of the most beautiful sounds you will ever hear. Try again! Your brother is a ravenous dog that needs to be put down Ms. Larry. Sorry, but this is inexcusable.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victims as: 7-month-old Jahad Larry, 3-year-old Kelesha Larry, 16-year-old Keyshai Fields and 19-year-old Tawana Thompson Larry. And there are two more severely injured family members hanging on by a thread to life. Also, according to MSNBC, there are documents that suggest that the gunman has a track record of crime with drugs and has also been caught beating on his wife of ONE MONTH that is now dead.
