If I were a Catholic, I would’ve abandoned that ship during the first round of allegations of sexual abuse reports against the priests. But, now, those who didn’t are facing a real dilemma in the faith that they have chosen as allegations that the present Pope looked the other way when children were being molested.
Arthur Budzinski, 61, was a child when he was raped by the head priest who ran St. John’s School for the Deaf outside Milwaukee in the 1960s. He is still trying to get the world to hear the stories that hundreds of deaf boys who could not and cannot speak for themselves couldn’t voice. They could not speak out, so they were abused mercilessly by the priests of their school.
According to New York Times, in 1996, the Milwaukee Archbishop Rembert Weakland wrote to Cardinal Ratzinger, who is now the Pope, but was the prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith at the Vatican during that time. He informed Ratzinger that Rev. Lawrence C. Murphy had sexual abuse charges dating back to the 1950s. The charges included accusations that he solicited sex from boys in the confessional. The Pope, was a cardinal at the time and documents prove that bishops in Wisconsin reported the allegations against Murphy directly to him. Murphy died in 1998 at age 72.
How much more of an animal can you be than to sodomize little deaf boys in their school in the name of God? There is a wing of hell specifically tricked out for these bastards. But what does it say about the Catholic faith when the culture of the religion is so deeply stained by the offenses against so many priests that have been trusted with the souls and hearts of families? What do you do with this information? And why do they continue to abstain from sex if it seems that abstinence amongst these priests is a breeding ground for demonic deviance from anything natural.
