Is the NFL Opening Its Doors to Yet Another Problem Player?

Dez Bryant, #1, putting in work.

The NFL draft is coming up and a draftee expected to go in the first 10 rounds, some say 15, looks like he is in need of a little guidance.  Former Okalahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant has somewhat of a behavior problem that comes with his enormous football talent.  Yahoo!  Sports reported that they have three sources that say, “he missed the final 10 games last season because he lied to NCAA investigators ,” he’s “consistently irrepsonsible” and it appears the list goes on.

Bryant will be going to a team that will swear he should’ve had a “caution” label on his head.  Yahoo! Sports showed a quote from one source that said:

“I wouldn’t draft that kid unless I had someone to wake him up in the morning to get to meetings, someone to wake him up for practice and someone to wake him up for games.”

It doesn’t sound like they exactly have a Michael Vick or Ray Carruth on their hands, but he may need an NFL wake-up call from the very beginning.  If indeed all the hype is true about Bryant, the team’s owner will indeed give him a quick scare with his money.  Bryant has seen trouble for being involved with NFL players and if he acts like a child in the NFL, it will cost him everything.
