Dishin’ Dirt on Naomi Campbell, Keith Sweat, Shawty Redd and more…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  This is a new year with new Dirt on your favorite STARS!  Here is the rundown…

Shouts out to Keith Sweat for landing a new job.  According to my sources, Keith is now on the radio…but not singing (thank GAWD)!  Keith has landed a new job as the host of the Quiet Storm on WBLS.  Keith is one of the more recent washed up R&B singers to land a radio gig.  Congrats…

To all of my folks trying to break into the music industry you may want to check this out.  According to a friend over at RadioFacts they are giving away valuable info to those trying to get into the record industry.  For only $10 you will get valuable info on the industry everyday for 30 days!  You can’t beat it.  Check out this link for the details.  It’s worth a try.  Besides, what have you got to lose?

Street cred has just gone WAY too far these days.  According to WSBTV in Atlanta, the GRAMMY AWARD WINNING Atlanta based Producer, Shawty Redd has been arrested on murder charges.  He allegedly had company at his home New Years Day when an altercation ensued leading Shawty Redd, whose real name is Demetrius Stewart, to shoot one of his house guests to death.  Although the circumstances behind the shooting have not been confirmed, it has been speculated that the victim threatened Stewart, thus causing him to defend himself.  The victim has been identified as 35 year old Damon Martin of Detroit.  Stewart is most known for being the Producer behind Snoop Dogg’s “Sensual Seduction.”

DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA!  Rumor has it that Lil’ Wayne recently dropped William Morris Agency because someone at the agency (Cara Lewis) had been stabbing him in the back.  According to my sources, certain entertainers who were also being represented by the WMA were told not to participate in Wayne’s upcoming tour because he is a DRUG ADDICT…as if we didn’t know.  Allegedly, the artists were Keyshia Cole and T-Pain.  AN-T-WAY, Wayne found out from some anonymous source (now y’all know it was Keyshia who told) and he kicked the agency to the curb.  These days, Wayne is being represented by the Ujamaa Agency.

Side Bar-Why can’t we all just stick together?  Not trying to be funny but Keyshia Cole could have really used the money she would have made from touring with Lil’ Wayne.  Not only would this have boosted Keyshia’s income BUT she would have gained MAD exposure beyond her lil’ “BET” fanbase.  Keeping it real, she should have kept her mouth shut and made dat pay-pa.  Oh yeah…just an FYI, Cara Lewis is a red headed white chick.  Y’all do tha math…

This ain’t got nuffin to do with nuffin but there was a Tracy Morgan siting…in a sex toy shop last week.  According to Page Six, Tracy ran into the store to grab a bottle of Motion Lotion.  Apparently, Tracy was in a hurry because he left his BMW double parked while he shopped.  What an emergency…

WHY is Rihanna writing a “tell all” book?!  According to my sources, Rihanna’s new book will dish all of the dirt on errrything and errrybody.  She discusses her upbringing, her love life and even her relationship with Jay Z.  This should be interesting…

Side Bar-Doesn’t this sound slightly familiar?  A beautiful island girl leaves an abusive home, hooks up with an artist, gets beat and then writes a tell all book.  Sounds eerily similar to “Confessions of a Video Vixen.”  I’m just sayin’…

Rumor had it that Super Model Naomi Campbell was going broke but according to her publicist, that couldn’t be furthest from the the truth.  Personally, I think there is some truth to it.  Between the lawsuits stemming from her “slapahoe” syndrome, her alleged “habit” and the mere fact that she is 95 years old in “Super Model Years” and still ripping the runway, gives me the tiny inclination that homegirl is the next celebrity turned victim of Chapter 11.  We’ll know the truth when she makes her debut on Celebrity Fit Club.  Nuff said…

That’s all the dirt for now…

Peace,

Sony
