Tell your friends and family members to stop running those private senior citizen homes where they’re supposed to be taking care of old people with ailments and are rarely monitoring the house, yet reaping all the benefits.  President Obama is not playing with anyone who might be on the take from Medicare ANYMORE!  There’s a new sheriff in town and they’ve set up base camps in Los Angeles, Houston and Detroit.

There were 26 arrests in Miami, Brooklyn and Detroit yesterday.  The biggest scam award goes to Dr. Fred Dweck in Miami and his 14 associates that were charging Medicare, which according to MSNBC’s report, pays very high rates, for unnecessary procedures for approximately 1,279 of the sickest patients.  They also found that they bribed two Miami clinics to join the scam and faked medical certifications.

The raids were sparked by a report from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General,  that reported Miami-Dade County “received more than half a billion dollars from Medicare in home health care payments intended for the sickest patients in 2008, which is more than the rest of the country combined.”

While you’re on the phone alerting Ray Ray and Shauntel, you might wanna check out the full report here.
