A few days ago on his radio show, Rush Limbaugh implied that the black community doesn’t have any love for Obama anymore. His claim is that the black community doesn’t think that the President is doing his job…for us.
He was ranting about how black people’s minds aren’t right and that we are depressed. He went as far as to say that “Tiger’s choice of women weren’t helping in that area either.” What area would that be Limbaugh? What the hell are you talking about? Oh, but there’s more!
He set up a sound bite of Jesse Jackson (who he referred to as the Monochrome Coalition Chairmen) saying that “Some think that the blame Bush rhetoric no longer applies.” Then Jesse is brought in with his statements saying that Obama owns more of the Afghan conflict with 100,000 troops as opposed to Bush’s 35,000 and the banks have been bailed out and “we’re losing jobs by the droves unemployment levels are disastrous” that the black community is on the front side of its pain and on the back side of its prosperity.”
First of all, Jesse Jackson has a right to his own opinion, but it doesn’t translate into the black community’s overall thought of the President. He went on to ask “How’s that Hoax and change working for ya? The black frame of mind is depressed…they’re all livid, they thought they were going to be in an exact 180 degree reversal.” As though President Obama through us a bait and switch and through on his “white robe” after he got in.
Rush if you would stop snorting that coke long enough you would know that in fact, HE IS one of us, but more importantly he is a man who inherited a sinking ship he can only put forth the grandest effort to fix. And he has done it with style and class and it’s eating you and the rest of your party alive that he’s black.
