It appears the Clampetts are running a daycare somewhere in Charlotte, N.C. Well, they WERE running a daycare.
The children were sitting around playing cards and drinking moonshine in their bottles when the police barged in and asked one of them what they were drinking.
Just kidding! The children never had any of the stuff, but they were shut down nonetheless.
The police bought some from them and came back later to seize the rest. An elderly man, 83, was arrested for being in possession of and selling 80 gallons of moonshine.
