A new independent, dramatic feature, written and directed by Ava DuVernay entitled, “I Will Follow” is preparing to launch in late 2010 at a theater near you.

The film stars Salli Richardson-Whitfield (I Am Legend, Antwone Fisher, A Low Down Dirty Shame) and was shot on location in Topanga Canyon, California.
The film chronicles the emotional terrain of a thirty-something woman as she moves out of the home once shared with a loved one whose passed away. As her moving day progresses, she’s sidetracked by a series of personal encounters that trigger grief, guilt and eventually, emotional freedom.
The cast also includes Omari Hardwick (Next Day Air, Dark Blue), Tracie Thoms (Rent, Cold Case), Beverly Todd (Crash, The Bucket List), Dijon Talton (Glee) and Michole White (She Hate Me). We’ll keep you abreast on the film’s status as it draws closer to its release.
