The story that made the country shudder in horror over a little girl being sold into sex slavery by her mother concluded horribly with the death of 5-year old Shaniya Davis.
Her mother had not been raising the child and her father decided to give her a try. Now she’s gone and surely, he’s completely traumatized over his decision.
But during the preparations for the funeral as her dad, Bradley Lockhart, made plans to set up a trust to pay for her funeral an unexpected celebrity stepped in.
Shaquille O’Neal opened his heart and his wallet to the family and paid for little Shaniya’s homegoing services. He said that the story really moved him.
The entire nation was moved, but he put his money where his tears were and helped out.
