Sunday morning the people of Washington state were awakened by yet another police involved slaying.
But the startling news came when the report did not involve the ”usual suspects,” but the report of four police officers gunned down in a coffee shop.
Who knew that the mafia held a grudge in Washington? Well, no one is saying that it is the mafia, but it does have their signature written on it doesn’t it?
So far it is being reported as a planned ambush. Three of the police officers were gunned down inside the shop, but the fourth put up a fight and was fatally wounded and died right outside the door. Officers regulary meet up and share the day ahead of them or have down time together in the evening shift to have a professional exchange.
So far, police spokesman Ed Troyer concluded that they were there doing paperwork. The four officers were identified by the city as Sgt. Mark Renninger, 39; Ronald Owens, 37; Tina Griswold, 40; and Greg Richards 42.
