A Canadian woman, Nathalie Blanchard, is fighting for her right to remain on sick leave from IBM due to her diagnosed depression. Facebook is in the middle of the controversy because the company benefits administration say that she’s shady! That they saw her pictures on Facebook and she’s not fooling anyone! They figure since she’s on Facebook gallivanting around at the strip bar and shaking her groove thang, that she is more than prepared to come back to work. According to the Associated Press, Blanchard has been off from her job for the last year on paid leave because of her depression.Â
Now she’s fighting back saying that her doctor told her to go have a drink and get on the stage with some Chippendale strippers, so she could be happy and he wouldn’t have to give her anymore hard drugs for her recreation. Well, there’s a lot of us who are not depressed that wouldn’t mind that prescription.
