The strippers in Vegas have upped the ante to get paid. Well, the club marketer actually had the idea. Larry Beard, marketing director of Deja Vu Showgirls, put the girls in a truck and said, “Let’s get that money!” Well, sticking a pole in a truck with glass sides and driving down the Vegas strip implies that anyway.
But Beard ran into issues with Sin city over the display. The turbulence wasn’t because the city thought it was morally corrupt or that it was even lewd. They figured the truck would cause some safety concerns. Someone could veer off the road trying to see how the girl came down the pole upside down with her heel in her mouth.
The Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak said he received mixed reviews about the truck, but ultimately, he had to shut it down because of onlookers. The truck had plenty of fans following the truck all the way to the club, so business definitely improved and the truck, in just a couple weeks, had achieved its goal.
