Has there been some kind of hex or “rut” put on Detroit? They just can’t seem to get a break. Car plants failing, unemployment through the roof, foreclosures at an all-time high, now this.
According to USA Today, Marathon fatalities are rare. And for this marathon to have THREE at one time … unbelievable.
The ages of the men run the spectrum of old to young: Rick Brown, 65, Daniel Langdon 36, and 26-year old Jon Fenlon.
Usually, participants are asked to consult with their physicians before participating in a marathon.
The medical ailments or lack thereof have not been released to the public as of yet.
