Most cities want the world to know they are alive and looking for residents and/or visitors … also known as revenue.
I’m sure Detroit wouldn’t mind someone putting together an ad campaign that shows whatever assets it might have left. But Louisville city council members are upset with their latest ad campaign and want it cut.
The ad company ran a few ads that are comparing the city to erectile dysfunction ads and troubled youth. The ads are for the most part humorous and harmless, but they feel that the comparisons are in poor taste.
But, what if no one came to the city to live or visit for lack of interesting things to interest them in visiting?
