Matthew Hess, 40, charged with child abuse.
Two girls were found safe and sound after being abducted from North Carolina by their adoptive dad 40-year old Matthew Hess.
It appears that this incident occurred nearly two weeks ago and one of the girls was soon to deliver a baby. The girls Keara and Sierra Hess are 13 and 11 and were found in Tennessee. The older child, Keara, was due to deliver any day. The paternity of the child has not been discussed, but surely there will be a paternity test after the child is born.
The strange behavior of their adoptive dad has probably stirred suspicion throughout the area.
