President Obama on David Letterman September 21, 2009

President Obama took time out to do the David Letterman show and they talked about the full gamut, but Letterman touched on Carter’s remarks on racism being alive in the government and in the opponents to his health care reform at the town hall meetings.  He said that their extreme disgust with Obama’s administration seems to emanate from him being a black man.  But Obama’s response to Carter is  that it’s “important to realize he was black before the elections.”  So the folks that he sees that are “riled up” is due to poor leadership and people being fed up with poor government.  Check it out:
