15-year old Taccara Swain from the Rosedale community of Chicago was shot in the head as she and other family members were running in from gunfire on their block. The heroic young lady was shot as she dived in front of bullets to protect her 2-year old cousin.
The shooters have not been arrested as of press time, but the family of Swain is optimistic that they will be brought to justice. Swain is in critical condition and the family asks for our prayers. See the heart wrenching details here:
