Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s) have some of the brightest and best talent the country has ever seen in all professional areas from mathematics to athletics. But the world has put a spotlight on the ivy league and mainstream universities of the U.S. That same mentality has also been seen in the gaming world.
But now two black women, Jacqueline Beauchamp (pictured above) and Sidni L. Shorter, are changing all of that with the most innovative gaming experience that sports gaming has ever seen. Beauchamp is the CEO and co-founder of Nergyzed (pronounced “energized”) Entertainment and via the company the gaming world will be taken by storm by their creation of “Black College Football Experience –The Doug Williams edition for Xbox 360” also known as BCFX: The Experience.
When you look at the sports offered for gaming systems where have you ever seen HBCU teams represented? You haven’t! More specifically, college football is nowhere to be found. The game will be launched at the end of August 2009 and boasts “the FIRST video game put out on console with Microsoft by an African American company specifically for an African-American target market.”
Read here about Beauchamp and Nergyzed Entertainment to gear up for the experience that will both excite and mesmerize you. GAME ON!
