Who would believe that the U.S.’ children are lacking vitamin D when they love the creamy white goodness that usually doesn’t leave them flatulent. Now adults on the other hand should back away from the stuff, so no one gets hurt.
The lead researcher on the finding, Dr. Michal L. Melamed of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University found that low levels were prevalent with African American and Mexican-American girls. But it doesn’t stop there, the research finds that sedentary children are more likely to suffer from the deficiency as well.
