Elizabeth Taylor has been a friend of Michael Jackson’s for a very long time. They were extremely close during a time when the media was closing in on him because of his eccentric lifestyle and long before any claims of pedophilia. She was a help to him in dealing with his fame as she has been a national treasure for some time. But recently, stories flew all over the place concerning her choice not to attend the funeral.
Recently, the cinematic diva was hospitalized and the media ran with the story as though her grief put her in the hospital. But, she Twittered the communities of the world and let them know she just didn’t want to be involved in the “hoopla.” She also had her publicist release a statement saying that she wasn’t barred from the event, as had been reported.
