It would seem to the non-subscribers of Nashville’s Tennessean that they were mislead by news reports of McNair’s death. But, the real problem was that the paper had already gotten an interview with McNair about his new restaurant “Grid Iron 9”, when he was shot and killed by his psycho girlfriend.
The paper went out and they couldn’t retract, so they went ahead and sent it out. Now, this will more than likely become a collector’s item for the paper. The few that received a posthumous interview edition of the paper aren’t all choked up over anything but what the Antique Road Show will say their paper is worth in the next 10 years.
